Dr. Richard Kappes
Dr. Kappes chose to pursue the chiropractic profession after injuring his low back playing football in high school. He went to a chiropractor for treatment and therapy and his pain went away without drugs or surgery! He was so impressed with chiropractic and his results that he went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri in 1993. Following graduation he went right to work helping patients as an Associate Chiropractor. In April of 1996 Dr. Kappes and his wife Tina opened this practice in Bowie, MD.
Total Wellness Chiropractic (formerly Kappes Chiropractic) has been serving Bowie and the surrounding areas for 15 years now. Dr. Kappes continues to keep up to date on the latest changes and advances in the chiropractic field. He is also committed to making sure our patients are educated so they become inspired to become active participants in their own well being, and, in turn will educate others.
